About Me
Welcome!
I'm a licensed psychotherapist practicing in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. My mission is to create a warm and supportive environment where you can safely explore your thoughts and emotions. By integrating therapeutic styles that balance evidence-based practices with a strength’s perspective and a psychodynamic lens, we will work together to identify the underlying causes of distress and symptoms.
I earned my master’s degree from New York University with honors, with a focus on clinical interventions. My career began at New York Presbyterian Behavioral Center in White Plains, New York, where I honed my clinical skills by working with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing OCD, Phobias, Anxiety, and personality disorders. This experience provided me with valuable insights and expertise in these areas. Over the years, I've also worked in CBT and DBT practices, leading to the establishment of my own practice.
My expertise includes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Response Prevention, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches are tailored to address a broad range of psychological issues, utilizing evidence-based treatments to provide effective strategies for the symptoms you are struggling with.
My goal is to help you reduce the symptoms that brought you to therapy, develop effective coping strategies, and lead a happier, more fulfilling life. If you’re ready to take the first steps towards a healthier mindset and a brighter future, please feel free to call or email me for a free consultation. I look forward to speaking with you very soon.
Warm regards,
Kimberly
